Samsung will unveil its next iteration of custom skin – One UI 6.1 next week, and this upcoming software version will come pre-installed on the Galaxy S24 series and then further expand to more Galaxy phones. Also, the One UI 6.1 is tipped to be an exciting upgrade for older models.
A tipster Alvin on X stated that One UI 6.1 for older Samsung Galaxy phones will be an exciting upgrade. This is a proper OS upgrade released by Samsung for its eligible Galaxy models. It’s even bigger than One UI 5.1 to One UI 6 in functionality. The stability will also be upgraded.
It means users will get a cluster of advanced features and optimizations, which will boost up the capabilities of other older Galaxy devices. Accordingly, the One UI 6.1 is expected to be first released for the Galaxy S23 series and the rollout for older flagships could begin in late February 2024.
