Multilingual can understand the feeling of setting the whole system language to one language when they want to select other languages for specific apps. Your Samsung smartphone supports different languages for so long. However, you can set only one language for the system.

Meanwhile, Samsung has replaced it with One UI 5, which introduces a per-app language feature. Primarily a feature of Android 13, the per-app language allows users to select a different language preference for each app.

The company has developed this feature, especially for multilingual people, who prefer to use different languages depending on the situation and change the way they communicate from one instance to another.
For example, you may want to use social media apps in your native language or English for news providers, banking, and other applications while in your area. It can also be really helpful for older people who don’t understand English as well as they can operate the whole phone with it.
Whereas, per-app language makes it possible to run applications under the same set of locations on Android settings. It allows applications to change locale preferences at runtime using the newly introduced API.
However, it should be noted that the availability of this feature may vary depending on the apps. Some third-party apps may not support this feature and these apps may work best in English or another language. Currently, we’re not sure which apps support it or which don’t.
