Samsung brings a handful of features to the stock One UI Camera and Gallery apps with the latest software version. Your A51 will now let you easily change the color tone of your selfies by selecting Natural or Bright options using the dedicated button on the screen.
Meanwhile, the Gallery app is getting GIF Remaster, Extract Text from the video feature, Detailed view of your photo or video, easier searching and sharing, improved handling, and more.
Widgets:
The fresh update installs a new Battery widget to display your phone and connected devices’ battery status effortlessly. The Dynamic Weather widget provides the current weather support, forecasts, and more. And, the improved Smart suggestion widget now recommends you a Spotify playlist.
Multitasking:
Samsung has significantly improved multitasking with One UI 5.1. You can now adjust the window size by dragging the window edges in any direction in the pop-up view. Meanwhile, you will see categories for Recent apps and Most used apps, allowing you to quickly select apps for Split Screen.
That’s not it. The update installs many more features and improvements to the Bixby Text Call, Samsung Internet, AR Zone, Modes and Routines, Wallpaper sections, Edge Panels, Color Palette, and others.
