Earlier this month, Samsung launched the One UI 5.0 beta program based on the Android 13 OS and released the first beta build for the Galaxy S22 series devices. Now, tipster IceUniverse revealed that One UI 5.0 beta 2 is coming soon with changes to the app icons.
According to the information, there will be some changed icons in Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta 2. It seems, Samsung is bringing a redesign to some native app icons to make the appearance of One UI 5.0 better than One UI 4.1.

Furthermore, the same source shared a screenshot showing the Gallery app icon, which now has an upgraded design compared to One UI 4.1. While the number of leaves remained the same (6) in the Samsung Gallery, they now have thinner dimensions compared to the 4.1.
On August 15, Google officially released the Android 13 source code to AOSP, while it is now widely available to Pixel smartphone users. As the base Android 13 OS gains stability, Samsung is bringing a more stable system and UI experience with the next One UI 5.0 beta build.
Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra users are currently testing Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta in three countries including the US, Germany, and South Korea. We are dreaming that the company can expand availability to all 7 eligible markets with the next beta release.
One UI 5.0 Features
