But now with One UI 5.0, Samsung has made the Edge lighting style option more easier and intuitive than before. This feature will make the edges of your Galaxy phone light up along with some eye-catching animations whenever you receive a text or notification.
Samsung One UI 5.0 Edge Lighting style feature makes your Galaxy device screen more beautiful and attractive. After enabling the feature, you will see a light on all the edges of your smartphone along with a pop-up notification on the top of the device.
Edge Lighting feature includes several customization options such as effects, color, and advanced. But before exploring them, let’s get to know where you will find this feature.
- Open the Settings of your Galaxy One UI 5.0 phone
- Tap on the Notification option
- Here click on the Notification pop-up-style
- Once you enter it, here you will see the option of Brief and Detailed
- Select the Brief and click on the Edge Lighting style menu
- After that start customizing it according to your preference
Effects – Edge Lighting style effect section will let you select the effects for the notification that you will receive on your device. It offers a total of 11 effects which looks pretty cool and beautiful.
Color – As the name suggests in the color menu you will be able to select your preferred color from various options. Most interestingly, it also offers you a set of gradient colors.
Advanced – This feature helps you adjust the transparency of your notification with the help of a slider. Below that it also lets you specify the duration of the notification from short to long
