Just like some other applications, Samsung has also released One UI 6 support for its My Files, which changes the way internal storage capacity is displayed. Yes, the Korean tech firm has made some notable transformations in its storage display process.
Samsung officially shared a notice that suggests how One UI 6 will display internal storage capacity in My Files. Before moving toward the process, let me tell you this change will help various consumers and let them analyze device storage more seamlessly.
As per the information, the storage capacity was earlier calculated using a binary system (1GB=1,024*1,024 *1,024bytes) in My Files. But the One UI 6 will display the actual storage in base 10, with binary notation changed to base 10 notation (1GB=1,000*1,000*1,000*1,000 bytes).
However, this change is adopted to avoid confusion and provide more appropriate information in response to customer requests. Do you find this transformation of Obe UI’s latest iteration useful or not? Let us know in the comment section below.
