Samsung Galaxy A52 smartphone users receiving a new software update that installs the June 2022 Android security patch update. That can be identified via the One UI build version A525FXXU4BVE2.
The Samsung Galaxy A52 June 2022 update brings improvements for system security and stability as well as fixes general bugs and issues that affect users’ experience.
Moreover, the update comes with 66 privacy and security-related issues and exploits. However, the official support page mentions fixes for 5 Critical, 39 High, and 1 Moderate level of CVEs from Samsung and Google.
These vulnerabilities are related to SIM card data access, remote code execution, improper access controls, MAC address information, camera access, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Samsung account.
Beside these, the new firmware update does not bring any noticeable changes for the concerned device owners. However, users may notice some minor changes and improvements in certain system functionalities.
Currently, the update is released for Russian consumers at the moment, but as soon as the company will ensure the security and stability of the firmware, it will spread the update to more users all over the world.
