Samsung Electronics has recently joined hands with AMD and Qualcomm to develop FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) to boost gaming by using AI to generate additional high-quality frames and improve image quality by creating additional pixels, on Galaxy phones.
Tech_Reve on Twitter says, AMD, Samsung, and Qualcomm have decided to jointly develop ‘FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR)’ to compete with NVIDIA’s DLSS, and it is anticipated that FSR technology will be implemented in Samsung’s Galaxy alongside ray tracing in the future.”
Other than this, there are no other details available on this matter yet. But we can assume that the tech will be integrated into future flagship S series phones. The involvement of AMD and Qualcomm indicates that both Exynos and Snapdragon-powered Galaxy devices might support FSR.
