Earlier in August, One UI test build detection app CheckFirm revealed that it is testing a new One UI build for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphones. Now, new information via the same firm indicates that Galaxy S20 FE users will soon be getting a new major One UI update, probably One UI 4.1.1 or One UI 5.0.

According to the report, Samsung has started testing the new One UI build for the Galaxy S20 FE smartphone. Currently, we don’t have any information about which One UI version is being tested on this smartphone, but will definitely be One UI 4.1.1 or One UI 5.0.

One UI build has been tested on Galaxy S20 FE with PDA versions G780FXXU9DVG5, G780FXXS3CvF3, and G781BXXU$GVH1. However, the Germany variant is tested for a major UI update as the Samsung Germany CSC code is DBT.
One UI 5.0
Samsung has officially launched the One UI 5.0 beta program for the Galaxy S22 series of smartphones. According to reports, other Galaxy smartphones have also started internal testing of the One UI 5.0 beta.

One UI 4.1.1
Samsung released Android 12-based One UI 4.1.1 alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 on August 10 at the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event. The latest One UI 4.1.1 brings new features and improvements as compared to the previous UI.
