Samsung introduces new game module in One UI 7, Galaxy A35 spotted with Android 15

Samsung is developing a new Game module for its Good Lock customization suite in One UI 7. This module will provide advanced game settings, offering a significant upgrade for gamers on Galaxy smartphones.

Good Lock is available on select Samsung devices and enhances the user experience with various customization options. The upcoming Game module aims to introduce complex game settings, surpassing the current Game Booster and Game Booster Plus plugins. This development is in response to pro gamers’ demands for more detailed settings.

Samsung’s moderators have confirmed that the Game module will feature a more complex structure for in-game settings. It will be integrated into Good Lock, ensuring an easier and more personalized gaming experience. The existing Game Booster plugin, which already offers various gaming features, will also be restructured based on user feedback, improving accessibility and usability.

Samsung’s flagship devices, equipped with advanced chipsets like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos variants, support ray tracing technology for enhanced gaming visuals. The introduction of a comprehensive game settings dashboard will further benefit Galaxy gamers.

One UI 7, based on Android 15, will be officially launched on October 3rd, 2024, with the public rollout expected to start later in October. The One UI 7 Beta Program is likely to begin this month.

The Galaxy A35, part of Samsung’s A series, has been spotted on Geekbench running Android 15 and One UI 7. The device achieved a single-core score of 958 and a multi-core score of 2177, indicating significant performance improvements in the next update. These early benchmark scores suggest that Samsung is actively working on enhancing the performance of its devices with One UI 7.

In addition to the Galaxy A35, other Samsung smartphones, including the Galaxy S21 Plus, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy S24 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra, and Galaxy S22, are also expected to receive One UI 7 updates.

Samsung Galaxy S24+ Geekbench Score: The Galaxy S24 Plus recorded a single-core score of 2114 and a multi-core score of 6616 on Geekbench, highlighting its robust performance with One UI 7 and Android 15.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Geekbench Score: The Galaxy S23 Ultra, running One UI 7 and Android 15, achieved a single-core score of 1658 and a multi-core score of 4028.

Samsung plans to release the One UI 7 Beta update for Galaxy devices soon, with the stable version available on October 3rd, 2024, at the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC). The update will initially be available for the latest flagship smartphones, including the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6.
