Samsung eyeing big on the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5. As always, the company is focussing more on the clamshell foldable due to its stylish design and affordability over the Fold. A new input suggests that Samsung made big improvements in Galaxy Z Flip 5 camera and battery life.
According to Chosun’s report, Samsung is betting on a significantly enhanced camera and longer battery life with the new Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable smartphone. The device will launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 5 on July 26 in South Korea, and August 11 in the US and Canada.
A Samsung insider reportedly said, “In response to customer complaints that the Galaxy Flip Z lags behind the Galaxy S in functionality, the latest model features clear improvements in camera and battery life matching the level of the Galaxy S23.”
The report further states that the insider added that it was difficult to boost camera megapixels and battery capacity due to space limitations. However, the photo clarity and battery issues were hugely improved with the help of software.
