Key Points:

  • Samsung Global Goals App Updated: New features in v3.3 make it easier to contribute to sustainability efforts.
  • Enhanced User Experience: Improved navigation, rewards, and donation process for a smoother experience.
  • Galaxy Watch Ultra Watch Faces: Exclusive faces spark user requests for compatibility with older models.

Samsung is taking strides towards a greener future with a recent update to its Samsung Global Goals app. This update, version 3.3.00.6, brings a range of new features designed to empower users to make a positive impact.

The update streamlines user engagement with a dedicated navbar tab showcasing the impactful work of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) around the world. Users can now delve deeper into these global initiatives through informative English videos. Additionally, the “Thank-You Gifts” section has been reorganized into clear collections, making it easier to browse and choose rewards for contributions. To further personalize the experience, the watch faces manager has been revamped alongside the introduction of new wallpaper options.

To ensure a more secure and convenient donation process, users will now need to sign in with their Samsung accounts. This not only enhances security but also adds a personal touch by displaying the user’s avatar next to the menu options. By fostering user engagement, simplifying donations, and offering greater transparency into global impact, Samsung is empowering Galaxy users to contribute meaningfully to a more sustainable future.

The update for Samsung Global Goals v3.3 is readily available for download on the Galaxy Store.

On a separate note, Samsung has sparked user desires with the exclusive watch faces introduced on the new Galaxy Watch Ultra. While this customer-centric initiative is commendable, its finalization remains in the works. Responding to a user’s query regarding the availability of these watch faces on older Galaxy Watch models (4, 5, and 6), a Samsung employee confirmed their current exclusivity to the Ultra. However, there’s a glimmer of hope for the future. The employee hinted at the possibility of “replicas” becoming available for older models, though these would require a new format compatible with Wear OS 5.
