Samsung has begun the rollout of the January 2024 Android security update for Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 devices in the US. However, the rollout of this latest month’s security patch began with fourth-generation foldables and will expand to more devices soon.
According to the details, the January 2024 update is currently live for the carrier-locked units of Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 and it can be identified via the build F946USQS1BWL7 and F731USQS1BWL7, respectively in the US.
It’s worth mentioning that the consumers of fifth-generation foldable devices are currently enjoying the features and optimizations of the Android 14-based One UI 6 software and the installation of this latest patch will ensure that their device is up to date with most recent advancements.
