Foldables finally replaced Note?
Back in 2020, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 20 series with S Pen Iconic support as its last Note lineup. The Note 20 lineup was pre-ordered for around 700,000 units, which is well behind all subsequent ranges. This shows that Samsung’s decision to discontinue the Note lineup was correct.
It is worth noting that Samsung’s foldable phone sales reached 10 million units with the Flip 3 and Fold 3, while it is estimated that the annual sales through the Flip 4 and Fold 4 will exceed 10 million units this year. Meanwhile, the pre-orders of the 4th gen Galaxy foldable are less than the Galaxy Note 10 series (1.3 million units).
