Samsung is expanding the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 major software update for more users of Galaxy Z Fold 2. This latest update contains several new features, functions, and optimizations for your Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphones and will make the user interface more customized.

As per the information, the update is currently rolling out for the Carrier-unlocked Comcast, Verizon, and Xfinity mobile network users in the US, and it will be available for more users soon. The update further comes with One UI build version F916U1UEU2IVK5.
Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update also brings the latest December 2022 Android security patch for your Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphone. Being a monthly security patch it will enhance the user experience of your device and improve stability by fixing some common bugs.
Based on Android 13 the One UI 5.0 update brings elements like a new 16 Color Palette, Stack widgets, Extract text from images, revamped Quick settings panel, Per-app language, the ability to disable RAM Plus, improved Notification settings, customized call backgrounds, better control over background apps, new camera features including the Watermark, and much more.
To manually download the update open the Settings of your phone, scroll down, and tap on the Software update menu. Here search for the latest update, once its visible, hit the Download button and Install it, once it’s done do not forget to restart your Galaxy foldable.
