Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy A72 smartphones are receiving the April 2023 security update. It improves the system security and stability of the devices as well as enhances performance to provide a better Galaxy experience.
April 2023 security patch brings fixes for over 60 vulnerabilities and exposures including 5 critical, 46 high, and one moderate level of CVEs.

As soon as your phone’s quarterly update arrives, you should perform a quick installation as it aims to install the latest patches by Google and the phone manufacturer. It is an initial rollout so it may take days/weeks to reach all Z Fold 2 and Galaxy A72 devices.
To install the update, you just need to access System Settings and visit the Software Update tab. Once reached, you should get another tab entitled Download and install, tap on it. Now, follow the on-screen instructions to finish the software update procedure.
