Samsung has started dispatching a new update for Galaxy Z Flip smartphones in the US, which brings the latest January 2024 Android security patch. This latest update is already live for the 5G variants of Galaxy Z Flip and will be available for remaining users soon.
As per the details, the January 2024 security patch is released for carrier-locked models of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip in the US. Simultaneously, the owners of the corresponding model will be able to determine the firmware via the One UI build version F700USQS8JXA2.
This latest patch offers improved protection against malicious threats, viruses, and other cyber-related assaults. It also provides increased security for the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe and secure.
Additionally, it will also help to fix over 75 vulnerability exposures that may have been discovered in the system, reducing the risk of system crashes and data loss. Consequently, users can download the latest patch through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
