Samsung is expected to launch its next generation of smartwatches this fall, with recent talk that there will be a less expensive option available alongside the upper-tier watches. However, no information has been shared by Samsung yet, however, rumors about the new phones have been around regarding the pricing and possible features.
As with the Galaxy Watch, it doesn’t have much of a reputation for being affordable. However, one surprising fact that is currently emerging according to leaked information is Samsung’s possible entry into the more mass-market segment with the “Galaxy Watch FE” estimated at $199.
Do I have to shell out big bucks for Samsung’s smartwatch technology? With the Samsung Gear Fit E, the answer might be ‘no’. This promising affordable fitness tracker could be a game changer for everyone who wants our smartwatch technology at a lower price.
The leak also shows a $299 screen saver watch called the “Galaxy Watch 7”; Also a high-performance watch, the “Galaxy Watch 7 Pro” for US$449. The Pro version may be the product that fitness enthusiasts will prefer due to its alleged additional energizing features.
It is also being said that a ‘Classic’ or standard edition of the Watch 7 could be part of the series in various news outlets. With the latest leaks indicating that the Classic is being replaced by the Focus Electric (FE) as a cheaper alternative, it appears this may be the last we see of the Classic.
And keep in mind that this is just speculation at this point. Samsung’s talk about its future watch has not been mentioned anywhere. But one thing is certain: problems may arise for the upcoming smartwatch plant, which may become a full-fledged mixer in the market after some time.
If the Galaxy Watch FE is the rumored third model, this is the lineup:
