The Korean tech giant has officially confirmed to hold the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 10. Alongside the two new foldable smartphones, the company will uncover the new generation of smartwatches known as Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.
Moreover, the new wearables are reportedly coming with lots of upgrades over the current Galaxy Watch 4 series, which are related to design, additional features like the ability to measure body temperature, pre-installed Google Assistant, and others.
At the same time, according to a reliable tipster Ice Universe, the whole new Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will offer improved battery life, and instead of the Watch 4 Classic model’s-like 1-day battery, it will provide users 3 days of battery life on a charge.
This isn’t the first time we are hearing about the improved battery capacity of the upcoming wearables. Previously, a South Korean listing confirmed that the Watch 5 Pro will boast a bigger battery, such as a 572mAh. The listing also revealed a 10W fast charging speed, which is a huge upgrade as the highest charging speed of the Galaxy watch was only 5W so far.
