Earlier the rumors about the Snapdragon-powered variant of Galaxy S24+ in India have created a lot of buzz and now here comes another. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is claimed to equip a slower variant of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor may disappoint users in the US.
According to the information, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature two different variants of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The device could have the Cortex-X4 Prime core clocked at 3.3GHz in the US, and, non-US variants could feature Cortex-X4 Prime Core running at 3.4GHz.
It’s also worth mentioning that, the slower variant with Cortex-X4 clocked at 3.30GHz could power Galaxy S24 Ultra in the US (“U”) and South Korea (“N”). Consequently, it’s currently uncertain which countries will get “B” variants of the next S24 Ultra flagship smartphone.
However, this may affect the performance of the Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone in the US, or it may also happen that, it brings no major transformation, as the 100MHz clock speed difference shouldn’t be something that is easily detected by users.
