Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra have started receiving the January 2024 Android security patch at T-Mobile network US. However, the other carrier users have already acquired the update and the remaining will also collect it in the coming days.
Notably, Samsung has also begun One UI 6.1 testing as the Galaxy S23 series devices are expected to be the first to obtain the optimizations and features of the upcoming iteration of One UI after Galaxy S24.
Simultaneously, T-Mobile has released the January 2024 security patch for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra with One UI build version S911USQS2BWL7, S916USQS2BWL7, and S918USQS2BWL7 respectively. It further carries a 411MB package size.
The latest security patch enhances the security and stability grades of your latest flagship models and provides improved protection against harmful threats, viruses, and safety-related assaults. It will also mend over 75 vulnerability exposures from Google and Samsung.
However, the consumers in US can install the latest patch by following some simple steps. Visit Settings of your phone and tap on the Software Update menu. Now, press the Download & Install key and follow the onscreen instructions.
