Samsung Galaxy S22 August 2022 update Expanding

In late July, Samsung began rolling out the August 2022 security update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra in Europe. Now, the company has started rolling out the latest updates for these smartphones in different regions at the same time.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones are getting the August 2022 security update in Latin America, Russia, South Korea, and the US. The update installs the latest Android patches to improve system security.

You can manually check for new firmware updates. To do so, simply open the System Settings of your Galaxy S22 (or Galaxy S22 Plus or Galaxy S22 Ultra), followed by Download and Install Software Update. If there is one, the phone will prompt you to hit the download button to install a new firmware update.
