Shortly after its European debut, Samsung’s August 2022 security update is now rolling out to T-Mobile carrier-locked Galaxy S22 series devices in the US. The rollout recently started for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra flagships, which have an OTA size of around 0.5GB.
According to the update changelog, T-Mobile US is bringing overall functional stability improvements to the Samsung Galaxy S22 lineup of smartphones with the latest August 2022 security update. Looking at the updated size, we can expect additional system and performance improvements for the consumers.

Apart from regular system stability improvements, there is nothing to discuss. Meanwhile, Samsung yesterday shared what issues and bugs it has fixed with the August 2022 security patch. As per the information, the new patch update brings improvements to 1 critical and 23 high-level CVEs with 31 SVEs.

How to update?
Samsung consumers can manually check for updates on their smartphones by navigating to System Settings. Once done, scroll down and tap on the Software Update menu, followed by Download and Install. After tapping on the download button your phone will get a new OTA if available.
One UI 5 Beta
