Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra devices have begun collecting a new update, which installs the latest January 2024 Android security patch. Notably, the patch is already live for various devices and will be available for remaining users soon.
This latest security patch will enhance the security and stability grades of your Galaxy devices and improve their core mechanism. It further provides enhanced protection against threats, and viruses and resolves over 70 vulnerability exposures from Google and Samsung.
Other than common enhancements the update didn’t bring any new features or major changes for your Galaxy phone. But we recommend users to keep their devices up to date with the most recent security protocols and technology advancements.
Accordingly, the January 2024 update for Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra has arrived with One UI build version G991WVLS9FWL2, G996WVLS9FWL2, and G998WVLS9FWL2 respectively and carries an installation package of 300 MB.
Simultaneously, it’s an initial rollout and the patch is live in Canada, however, it will expand to more region users in the coming days or weeks. To download the latest patch visit the Settings app and tap on the Software Update menu. Now, press Download & Install and follow the on-screen instructions.
