Samsung is expanding the Galaxy S21 March 2023 security update to the UK. It carries optimizations for system performance as well as some Galaxy S21-specific issue fixes.
The March 2023 update comes with One UI built version G998BXXS6EWBB, G996BXXS6EWBB, and G991BXXS6EWBB for the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 smartphones in the UK, simultaneously.

Samsung March 2023 update
This update aims to optimize the device performance as well as the system’s security and stability to protect your important files and data from bugs and viruses and offer you uninterrupted functionality throughout One UI and third-party apps and services.
On the other hand, the devices get fixes for 45 issues as a part of Google’s March 2023 Android security bulletin and 23 Galaxy-precise Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures that were causing data leak, and other errors.
It is worth noticing that Samsung’s March 2023 patch details mention a fix for Galaxy S21-specific vulnerability – “SVE-2022-0604(CVE-2023-21459)”. It was allowing attackers to cause memory access faults on smartphones.
Galaxy S21 Battery improved with March 2023 patch
Multiple numbers of Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra customers were reporting heavy battery drain and overheating issues. Consumers were expecting it to be fixed with the major One UI 5.1 update but unfortunately, it didn’t happen.
Thankfully, the March 2023 Galaxy S21 update addresses the problem and substantially improved the battery life for many. The device is now offering a long on-screen time on a single charge in a day.
