Samsung is close to releasing the One UI 4.1.1 update for its foldable smartphones and tablets, which are based on Android 12L. Meanwhile, the company is also giving some of its features to regular flagship smartphones. After the Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, and Galaxy S21 FE devices, the Galaxy S20 FE 5G is the latest to receive the One UI 4.1.1 update in the US.

The Galaxy S20 FE Android 12-based One UI 4.1.1 update is rolling out to Verizon-locked customers in the US, with plans to expand to more customers in other countries soon.
The latest OneUI update for this smartphone comes with the September 2022 Android security patch to enhance performance and user experience along with new features and improvements.
According to the changelog, this update brings two new multitasking features: Swipe up for split screen and Swipe up for pop-up view. These swipe gestures will make it easier to do multiple things at once.
Apart from this, the device is also getting an upgraded version of Smart View with new multi-view features. The company is introducing a new multi-view options window that appears when you select multi-view controls from the Smart View drop-down list.

Android 12-based One UI 4.1.1 Galaxy S21 FE 5G comes with One UI build version G781VSQU6FVH2. If you haven’t received the update notification yet, you can check it manually through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and Install.
