Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite users can now access One UI 5.1 update

Samsung has started to deliver the One UI 5.1 update for its outdated flagship phone – the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. It brings multiple new features and improvements to breathe new life into the devices.

It is an unexpected update for Galaxy Note 10 Lite consumers as the company earlier almost confirmed to not release One UI 5.1 for this smartphone. The Android 13-based One UI 5.1 update breathes a new life into this old smartphone with new features and enhancements for Camera, Gallery, Internet, Notes, Widgets, Wallpapers, Bixby Text Call, Multitasking, and more.

To begin with, the One UI 5.1 Samsung Camera app has a new Effects button that will let the customers change the color tone of their selfies. The Gallery app now features a convenient information display, a common family album for easier sharing, more powerful searches, GIF Remastering, and more.

Moreover, the Bixby Text Call feature now supports the English language and Samsung Internet lets you continue browsing on other devices. For the Pop-up view, you can minimize or maximize an app window by just dragging one of the corners.

Meanwhile, for split-screen, you will see categories for Recent apps and Most used apps, allowing you to quickly select apps for Split Screen. In addition, Modes and Routines will allow you to set different wallpapers based on your current modes, such as work, driving, etc.

Coming to the Widgets section, gets three major changes. The new Battery Widgets show the battery status of your phone and other connected devices on the home screen.

The Dynamic Weather widget provides all weather-related information and a summary of the current weather. Meanwhile, the improved Smart Suggestion Widget now recommends a Spotify playlist based on your activities.
