Samsung is rolling out a new update for the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus, which installs the August 2022 security patch to improve system security. The new update has been rolled out for the carrier-locked variant in the US.

As per the August 2022 patch description, Samsung has fixed several issues and risks with this month’s security patch. These include over 50 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities, which correspond to Samsung DeX, Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi service, DesktopSystemUI, Samsung Dialer, and many more.
Users can identify the latest updates of Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus through One UI versions N970USQS7HVH1 and N975USQS7HVH1. Currently, the update is available on Xfinity Mobile’s network and will soon expand to other networks.
If you own a Galaxy Note 10 series smartphone in the US, you can install the latest software update manually, simply open Settings >> Software Update >> Download and Install. Click on the Download button when the available updates appear and simply follow the instructions shown on your screen.
