Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Update

Samsung has released the August 2024 security update for its Galaxy Tab S7 series, focusing on enhancing system security and stability. This update initially rolled out for the 4G variant, includes a security patch that addresses over 45 vulnerabilities, including one critical and 34 high-level issues. Samsung also resolved 14 specific vulnerabilities related to its devices and apps, improving services like Knox and Galaxy Watch integration.

For those who own a Galaxy Tab S7, you can verify the update through the One UI build version ending in DXH1. Although the rollout is gradual, it should reach all models within days. To manually check for the update, navigate to your device’s Settings, select Software Update, and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.

Samsung Galaxy A73 Update

The Samsung Galaxy A73 has also begun receiving the August 2024 security update, which is now available in more countries, including India. This update not only enhances device security by addressing specific Samsung vulnerabilities but also improves overall system performance and stability. The update carries the version number A736BXXS9EXH2 in India and is approximately 352.22 MB in size.

To install this update, go to Settings, tap on Software Update, and choose the Download and Install option. This will allow your device to connect to Samsung’s OTA server and download the update.

Samsung Galaxy A54 Update (Verizon)

Verizon users in the US with the Samsung Galaxy A54 are also receiving the August 2024 security update. Already available in Europe, this update includes the new Circle to Search feature, which allows users to get more information about objects, images, or text displayed on their screen by simply circling it with their finger. This feature requires an internet connection and can be activated by holding the Home button.

The update also improves security and addresses over 45 issues identified in Android, ensuring that the device remains secure and reliable. To check for this update, head to your phone’s Settings, open the Software Update section, and follow the prompts to install the latest firmware.
