Various Galaxy device owners are enjoying the features and optimizations of the Android 14-based One UI 6 software update, as it brings with its bundles of significant elements, however, now it’s time for Samsung Galaxy A72 smartphone users to appreciate the latest offerings.
Samsung’s latest custom skin allows users to use the same full-color icons that are used for each app on the Home and Apps screens. It also gives you more freedom to move your clock to the position of your choice on the Lock screen and perform the drag-and-drop with two hands.
Not only this, but there are many more that users will encounter after upgrading their device to the latest version such as a reimagined home screen, modified emoji design, better multitasking, picture previews while sharing content, and more information in the weather widget.
The changelog of the software also mentions upgrades for some stock applications and a December 2023 Android security patch. However, the Android 14-based One UI 6 update for Samsung Galaxy A72 4G devices is currently rolling out in Russia and will expand to more region users soon.
Users of the corresponding model can identify the latest update via the One UI build version A725FXXU6EWL4 and need to install a package of around 2.2GB. You can check and download the latest update manually through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
