Recently, Samsung released the latest September security patch for Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S20 FE devices. Now, the company is expanding the September 2022 security update for both carrier-locked and unlocked models to Galaxy A53 smartphone users in the US.
As per the information, the Galaxy A53 5G September 2022 security update brings firmware versions: A536USQU3AVH1 (Carrier-Locked) and A536U1UES4AVH4 (Carrier-Unlocked). It is currently available in the US on AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Comcast, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile carriers.

The September 2022 update for the Galaxy A53 5G brings fixes for various CVEs and SVEs to enhance the overall system security of the device. Not to mention, the update brings 21 Samsung Vulnerability and Exposure (SVE) items along with 21 high, and 3 medium-level patches of CVE.
If you want to check for updates on your Galaxy A53 smartphone manually, simply go to the Settings menu, scroll down and select Software Update, then finally hit the Download and Install button. Shortly after the initial rollout, Samsung will expand its availability to more regions.
