The Galaxy A52S, one of Samsung’s most powerful mid-range smartphones, has now started receiving the August 2022 security update. In addition to a new August 2022 security patch, Samsung included major system and functional stability improvements with OTA.
According to the information, the Galaxy A52s August 2022 security update sports firmware version A528NKSU1CVG5. Initially, the Korean tech giant is deploying the latest software update to its home turf – South Korea, while a wider rollout could happen soon.

The package size of this OTA is around 900MB, which suggests that this is not a regular security fix update for Galaxy A52s smartphone users. The changelog mentions stability improvements, new security patches by Google, and security enhancements related to the operation of the device.
It is worth noting that Google and Samsung recently released the August 2022 Security Update Bulletin. As per information shared by Samsung, the new patch update brings fixes for around 30 different CVEs and 31 SVEs from Android and One UI developers.
