Samsung rolled out the latest August 2022 security update for Galaxy A52s smartphone users in Europe. This is not just a general security patch, as it aims to improve critical network functionalities, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
While the August 2022 patch brings improvements to 36 CVEs from Google, Samsung has also included 31 SVE items to further ensure system security on Galaxy devices. The changelog confirms that the Samsung Galaxy A52s August 2022 update improves the stability of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections.

In Europe, Galaxy A52s 5G owners can recognize the August 2022 update via the PDA version number A528BXXU1CVG7. In Korea, the update became available in a package size of approximately 855MB, so a European release could be followed up as well.

How to download
To get the August 2022 update on your Galaxy A52s manually, you have to open your phone’s System Settings. Once done, head to the bottom of the interface by scrolling down and tapping Software updates, followed by Download and install.
Android 13 testing underway
Recently, it was reported that Samsung is testing One UI 5.0 beta based on Android 13 on Galaxy A52s devices along with Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, and Galaxy A52s. One thing to note is that this is derived from firmware information on Samsung’s own servers, which hasn’t been officially confirmed.

Twitter user Medbuddy asked Samsung about the Android OS update support for the Galaxy A52S 5G. Samsung UK accidentally confirmed the 4th generation Android update for the Galaxy A52s and embedded a newsroom post of the new policy.
One UI 5 Beta should be opened
