Later last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy A12 smartphone with Android 10-based One UI 2 out of the box. Moving forward, the company released the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update for the budget smartphone in May 2021.
Nevertheless, the Galaxy A12 is eligible for another major software upgrade which will be Android 12-based One UI 4.0, which could be released in the second half of next year. Meanwhile, Samsung will release new security updates to improve system security.

Samsung is rolling out the Android security patch update in July 2022 for Galaxy A12 smartphone users in Brazil. This update improves device security and stability to keep your files and data safe and secure.
Additionally, it upgrades a bunch of One UI applications to enhance the overall device performance. You can recognize it through the firmware version A125MUBU3BVG6.

Samsung Galaxy A12 has started collecting Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update that comes with One UI build version A125FXXU2CVH1.
Samsung has come up with a slew of new features to give this budget smartphone user flagship-level customization options. The color palette, grammarly-powered keyboard, editing tools, etc. are the most noticeable changes that come with this update.
