Based on Android 14 the One UI 6.0 brought various significant features and capabilities, but at the same it too indulges some annoying bugs, that Samsung has promised to fix with upcoming updates. But, this could delay the One UI 6.1 release for Samsung Galaxy S23 devices.
A reliable tipster on X shared an estimated timeline at which Samsung may release One UI 6.1 for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra devices. At the same time, he also stated it’s quite challenging to predict the timing of the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S23 this year.
Samsung is currently busy preparing fixes for Galaxy S23 series tissues that appeared through One UI 6.0. On the other side, the tech maker also gearing up to unveil One UI 6.1 on January 17, 2024, with the Galaxy S24 series, and it will further be expanded to more devices.
Samsung usually releases major updates in the same month as the software launch for its most eligible devices. But this time Samsung’s focus on fixing One UI 6.0 bugs could make some changes, so the One UI 6.1 rollout will likely begin around mid-February, specifically on February 12th or 19th.
However, it’s only a prediction of the TarunVats, thus it’s recommended to take this information with a pinch of salt. Because the tech giant could make some last-minute changes and might follow the pattern they used for One UI 5.1.
