Samsung’s annual recognition program called Juneteeth has been celebrated every year on June 19, since 1865—this time coincidentally coming together along with upcoming Sunday, the Father’s Day celebration on 19th June 2022.

Samsung sat together with the executive members of the Samsung Galaxy Black Professionals ERG to discuss how to respectfully how honor the holiday’s legacy while joining the celebration in a meaningful way.

Samsung is motivating, working to enhance using their Juneteenth brand, by using the theme of communication and education. The company has the vision that the grassroots campaign is a key to market for having a greater impact rather than spending millions on advertising, and Samsung knows this very well.
Not only this, Samsung has other programs like STEMteenth, where the company award scholarship to worthy students of science. Samsung believes that we cannot move forward without embracing our past.
