Samsung is known as the king of foldable and the Korean tech giant is planning to take this folding display era to a new extent with the Flex In & Out Flip concept disclosed at CES 2024. It means, Samsung could let you turn the screen of your smartphone inside out.
As per the details, Samsung showed off a new shiny Flex In & Out Flip concept device at CES 2024, which can be folded open and closed and will even bend over backward so you can use the screen even if it is closed. The display measures 6.7 inches and looks the same as the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Notably, when the device is bent backward, one side of the Flex In & Out Flip is slightly shorter than the other, to avoid covering the camera. The larger side will show several icons in the phone’s quick settings menu, media playback controls, and the time and battery level.
However, the Flex In & Out Flip is only a concept for now, so currently it’s hard to say whether this technology will ever show up in a real product. But it shows that Samsung may be thinking about ways to make its old flip phone line more versatile, potential, and more useful to provide a more consistent experience.
