Samsung devices that won’t receive Android 13 One UI 5 update

Google has started its Android 13 beta for several devices worldwide but Samsung is far behind in this race as it didn’t start its 1st Android 13 beta activity for the Galaxy devices but we can assume that company will begin it’s Android 13 One UI 5 beta activity by July this year.

Samsung offers up to four generations of major Android upgrades to flagship Galaxy phones and tablets launched in/after 2021. Meanwhile, older flagship Galaxies such as the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 series were compatible with two OS upgrades at the time of launch.

Many Galaxy devices are eligible to receive the latest Android 13 upgrade but some Galaxy devices will not be able to experience further upgrades as their update period gets over, so in this article, we have assembled a list of the smartphones that will not get the Android 13 update.

Galaxy-Note-10

Starting with the Android 10-based One UI 2.x, Samsung delivered the Android 11-based One UI 3.x and the Android 12-based One UI 4.x upgrades to the Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 10+, Galaxy Note 10+ 5G, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10 5G smartphones.

While the Galaxy Note 10 and S10 lineups are not eligible to get any more major firmware, owners have to use their devices on the Android 12 OS. Meanwhile, Samsung will provide two more years of regular security updates to all of these devices following its February 2019’s promise.

Update

Samsung is soon going to launch the new custom skin which is One UI 4.1.1 with the fourth generation of foldable smartphones that is Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 , and so far there is no confirmed information coming related to the Android 13 rollout.

Recently, Google released the Android 13 Beta 3.2 update for eligible Pixel smartphones with fixes for major issues and exploits. It comes with supplementary stability improvements to the new operating system, bringing it one step closer to its Public release.
