Galaxy S23 series users started to get the most anticipated June 2023 update yesterday. The hype for One UI 6 Beta continues to rise as Android 14 is almost confirmed to go official next month. Meanwhile, it’s now reported that One UI 6 Beta starts in the 3rd week of July.
Since Android 14’s Beta is already available for a number of flagship phones, the One UI 6 Beta Program is yet to start. Samsung’s Galaxy skin is based on Android, but it runs its own Beta activity so Galaxy users always experience the most stable One UI software.
One UI 6 Beta coming 3rd week of July
Last year, the Korean tech giant released One UI 5 Beta in the first week of August. This year, the Beta testing starts sooner, at least by two weeks, making Galaxy users happy. Do note that the invitation will first come to the S23 series in at least seven markets including the United States.
In the first phase, Samsung reportedly begins Android 14-based One UI 6 Beta for the Galaxy S23 series in the third week of July. Later on, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 series users will be able to join the Beta testing program in certain markets.
In the last week of July, Google could seed Android 14 OS to AOSP along with releasing the Stable update to Beta testers. In the first week of August, the new OS could be rolled out to Public owning Pixel smartphones, followed by OnePlus 11 and Oppo Find X6 Pro.
