Samsung aims to produce over 240 million smartphones in 2024

After a few days, we will enter a new year and everyone including manufacturers has some or other plans to make the upcoming year worth noting. As per the latest information, Samsung Electronics the major player in the market has also set its aim to produce over 240 million smartphones in 2024.

Samsung stated that it aims to churn out more than 240 million smartphones next year, which is about 9% higher than the forecast the company gave earlier in 2023. Besides Samsung, there are multiple chinese smartphone makers that have also shared relatively robust forecasts with their suppliers.

As per input, Samsung expects to make about 8% more of its flagship foldable smartphones the Galaxy Z series in 2024 compared to this year. It further aims to increase shipments of its Galaxy S Ultra model by double-digit percent next year as consumer sentiment is expected to improve.
