The Android 13 update will arrive in the form of One UI 5.0 update for Samsung Galaxy devices. Ahead of the stable rollout, the company is allowing flagship smartphone users to access the new features and join the One UI 5.0 beta program to help the company bring stability to the platform.

The beta version of One UI 5.0 comes with a number of minor changes as part of improving the usability of system functions. If we specifically talk about the advanced features section of One UI 5.0, it has undergone major structural changes and some options have been moved to other tabs.
One UI 5.0 Advanced Features
Samsung has now categorized the upgraded One UI 5.0 features and divided them into different sections with relevant options. One UI 5.0’s Advanced Features section now shows the Labs tab at the top, which includes various experimental features.
After Labs, the second Advanced Features section embeds the S Pen Tab for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, followed by Side Keys, Motion and Gestures, and One-Hand Mode. Using these options, you can modify the way you interact with your smartphone.
In the next unnamed category, you can find Bixby Routines and Smart Suggestions features. Both these features work with the help of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to present the relevant automated results to the users while accessing the services in the One UI ecosystem.
Next to AI features, you can access the Screenshot and Screen Recorder services in the bottom section with a toggle that shows contacts while sharing content when enabled. Inside the Screenshot and Screen Record functions, you can modify the format, quality, and other settings.
In One UI 5.0, the last four advanced features are video call effect, game launcher, video brightness and dual messenger. The Video Call Effects feature lets you choose a background for the video call, while Game Launcher enhances the performance of gaming apps by limiting the RAM distribution for others.
In addition, several features are missing from the section such as Link to Windows after upgrading to One UI 5.0. No need to worry about it, as one can still access them, just the method has been changed and now you can find them in a newly added section – Connected devices.
