After One UI 4.1, Samsung is all set to release the next One UI version – One UI 4.1.1 There is no doubt that One UI 4.1.1 will be based on Android 12L but its features are yet to be revealed.
It is a matter of discussion whether the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update will be rolled out to all Samsung devices (including non-foldable and foldable) or only to foldable smartphones and tablets. It is worth noting that the company is yet to officially confirm anything other than the release date, its features, or compatibility.

Like One UI 3.1.1, Samsung One UI 4.1.1 is also launching with the new foldable smartphone in August. If we go with the previous One UI version, the latest One UI 4.1.1 will be introduced with the foldable first and will be released for other eligible Galaxy devices as well.
But there is a possibility that it will be released only for the foldable smartphone. Recently, Samsung launched the One UI 5.0 beta program for the latest flagship smartphones including Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra in Korea. According to reports, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, Galaxy A53, and Galaxy A52s devices are also testing One UI 5.0 beta.
For these devices that have not received the One UI 4.1.1 update, the company has directly started One UI 5.0 beta testing. In such a situation, we can say that the One UI 4.1.1 update will be released only for the foldable smartphone.
Apart from this, the company has started bringing One UI 4.1.1 support for its stock apps. Several Galaxy apps including NiceStar, One Hand Operation+, Galaxy Themes, MultiStar, and Home Up have already received One UI 4.1.1 support. The company wants to make the apps compatible with the upcoming major updates.
What do you think Samsung will release Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 for non-foldable Galaxy phones, let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
