As per the information, the Samsung object eraser feature in the photo editor is not working as expected. This feature is visible in the still photo editor, and there is an option to select an area to erase in a still. However, once a region is selected to delete, the region is not actually erased.
When you select an image in the Gallery app, an option for photo editing appears. After clicking on it, you can see the object erase function in the menu option (three dots in the lower left corner). Click the Object Removal feature and select any object you want to remove, then press Done. Now you can see that nothing has changed in the image because this function doesn’t work at all.
Nothing to worry about as the beta community manager has also provided a solution to this problem. If you are facing this issue in your Galaxy S22 series smartphone, then follow the steps mentioned below for the solution.
- Open the Settings app on your Galaxy smartphone.
- Scroll down and tap on Apps.
- Search keyboard eraser, and three apps appear.
1. Object Eraser
2. Reflection Eraser
3. Shadow Eraser - Delete all these three apps by tapping on the app, then uninstall option.
- Now, you can see that the object eraser is working properly.
