Later last month, Samsung began offering the April 2022 security patch for Galaxy S22 series devices through firmware updates. Just a few days later, the company shared the details of this latest Android + One UI security patch update, bringing adjustments to CVE and SVE of different categories.

All Samsung devices launched in or after 2019 qualify for four years of regular security arrangements (monthly, security, and twice a year). Going forward, the Korean technology giant has announced that it will deliver five years of regular security updates to all flagships and select mid-rangers launched in/after 2021.
The latest Samsung security patch firmware update comes with dozens of bug fixes related to system privacy and reliability. According to the information, the April 2022 patch fixes 27 high levels and 18 moderate exploits, while 6 vulnerabilities have already been fixed and 4 are not applicable in Galaxies.
While most the Galaxy devices are nowadays receiving the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update with various new features, the latest Samsung security patch firmware is aimed to further enhance the reliability and stability of the system.

Samsung is currently busy distributing the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update to the remaining eligible Galaxy devices.
