Green on the Galaxy: S22 series struggles after April 2024 patch update

Galaxy S22 owners beware! Be careful, a bunch of news reports about the acquisition of the green screen, which attacks some devices after the recent April update, have spread everywhere. The inability to get rid of them can be seen by us as visible movement sideways and their behavior is such that they are not sensitive to burning or leaving the burning interface and returning to the same place. Still, S22+ seems to be more or less the main target for attack, while S22 units and their Ultra counterparts may not even escape entirely, with a few scattered mentions around their ranks from time to time.

The aesthetic impact of this stain is undeniable as it has once again appeared on the formerly vibrant S22 screen along with an emerald mark. Yet, a deeper look reveals that the troubling element is that usability is reduced due to lines blocking content and hindering seamless interaction.

This is still the case, Samsung has not made any proper statement, which is why those affected individuals have only a few things left to do. As far as I can see, the only effective service at the moment is the service center, which results in display replacement in most cases. In the coming days and weeks, we can only hope for a software fix that can reign in these naughty greenies and leave the S22 with the pristine display it deserves.
