All you pixel-benders on the Android 14 beta train—we look forward to hearing from you. Via Google, it looks like they’ve come up with a much-needed answer to a bunch of little nuisances that annoy you — or totally annoy you — with your trusty tech every day.
This beta of QPR3 is numbered 2.1 and is broadcast on the Pixelosphere. It will appear automatically on your smartphone and will arrive via over-the-air update (OTA) to Google Beta Program signatories.
This means that the creature that this update will replace will be described in detail in the letter. Imagine you’re virtually at home, stretching your hand by swiping up, and, well, to no avail. Infuriating, isn’t it? This upgrade strikes down rogues and other navigational devils and ensures a well-trod course through your ecstatic universe.
Many times we experience another superlative – Apps are like glaciers, they are frozen! QPR3 Beta 2.1 means business and the instructions are clear: get ready for a ton of improvements that will ensure your applications are built to thrive and run like top-notch machines.
With this release, the Bug-Matic intuition of Pixel phones now extends to the Pixel lineup such as the Pixel 5a, Pixel 6 family, Pixel 7 series, Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet, and the most popular Pixel 8. It seems a bit heavy to download for Pixel 7 Pro users with it weighing up to 418MB.
However, remember that it’s impossible to go that route at the moment (I mean, installing it manually), but after some time, the system will probably get it on your phone automatically if you’re a beta tester. Now, Pixel users, cheer yourself up for the next stable and successful journey of your Android 14 journey!
