Google Meet will soon rollout Raise Hand Gesture functionality 

Google Meet the popular video conferencing application is now getting more advanced with the new raise hand functionality. This new feature will improve communication and work seamlessly during Question and Answer sessions and other moderations.

According to the information, Google Meet on the web can now recognize when you raise your hand in front of the camera. The feature works, when you keep your hand up for a moment and away from your face and body until a Raising your hand” progress bar is completed.

Notably, the feature remains toggled off by default and can be enabled via More options > Reactions  > Hand Gestures. Accordingly, this feature will start rolling out in the coming days.

However, it is currently available for Google Workspace Business Plus, Business Standard, Enterprise Essentials, Enterprise Plus, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Starter, Education Plus, the Teaching and Learning Upgrade customers, and Google Workspace Individual subscribers.
