After the removal of the Assistant Driving Mode Dashboard, Google now seems to be planning to ditch the Driving Mode feature from the Maps app in 2024. This news may disappoint some users, who rely on the Driving mode capability of Google Maps on Android.
According to the details, in an APK Insight post, some strings of code reveal that Google Maps Driving Mode will bid farewell in February 2024. The strings of codes found in the latest Google Maps app v14.52 hint that the Driving Mode optimized UI is all set to be removed from the Android app.
