Google Drive homepage getting a new makeover, which will make access to files faster and improve the overall user experience. Finding files in Drive is really a tough task as it summarizes them all into one, but with the latest release, Google has settled this matter.

According to the information, Google has redesigned the Drive homepage on Android and iOS with a more compact UI, this will help you more easily find the right file. The suggested page gets switched to a list view to show a lot more of the files that have been recently opened, shared, or edited.

However, the recent activity, like comments and replies, are now noted underneath the file name. Furthermore, the Notifications tab is replaced by an Activity feed, and cards are used to surface items that need your attention, such as pending access requests, recent comments, and awaiting approvals.

However, the new homepage will be rolled out to Google Drive on Android and iOS over the coming weeks. Additionally, it’s available to all Google Workspace customers and users with personal Google Accounts.
