Gmail is currently the most used application and Google keeps on optimizing its functioning with some or the other tweaks. In a recent development, Gmail has dropped the red color notification icon in favor of Dynamic colors on Android.
It means, the notification icons on Gmail no longer show a red background, instead it acquires the color of your wallpapers. However, this change may be useful for a few, but it will be unliked by many as the red color gives an instant appearance.
To be mentioned, the change in the Gmail notification icon is rolling out with version 2023.11.26.x, and the notifications are currently been shown in a generic light blue circle.
